Goodwill Industries of Akron is seeking a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor who will manage cash procedures, supervise store activities, and support community-focused missions. The role involves operating the register, opening/closing procedures, and assisting in daily operations with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

The position requires basic math, lifting up to 30 lbs, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with retail or food service is desirable.
• Ability to operate a cash register and POS system.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform stock duties.
• Valid driver's license and insurance proof preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and POS accurately.
• Perform opening and closing procedures; make nightly deposits.
• Complete reports (donation counts, readings, daily statements, deposits, cash drawer balances).
• Inspect textiles and items for saleability; sort, hang, tag, and price for resale.
• Promote the development of service participants; maintain safety and a clean work area.
