Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a part-time associate to help customers, assist with merchandise location, and perform sales transactions. You will support store operations, unload deliveries, stock shelves, and assist with opening/closing duties when needed.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, friendly customer service, and adherence to company policies. A high school education is preferred, with experience in retail a bonus.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives to others.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Support store operations and assist the Store Manager with daily activities.
• Open or close the store in absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Communicate store standards and procedures to team members.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking merchandise.
• Help with asset protection and loss prevention efforts.
• Ensure a positive image towards customers and the community.
• Complete all required training on time.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
