Job summary

Family Dollar in Seguin, TX is seeking a part-time associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise, and complete sales transactions. You will support the Store Manager with daily activities, maintain inventory, and help with deliveries and replenishment in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties when needed, ensuring store cleanliness, and handling cash with care. Prior retail or grocery experience is preferred, and a flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or grocery management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily activities and store operations.
• Maintain inventory, stock shelves, and ensure store cleanliness and appearance.
• Open or close the store in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Provide operational assistance to cashiers and support asset protection.
