Job summary

Family Dollar in Lufkin, TX is hiring a Part-time Associate to provide friendly customer service, assist with merchandise selection, locate items, and complete sales transactions. You will support store operations, help the Store Manager with daily tasks, maintain inventory, and assist with deliveries and replenishment.

In absence of store leadership, you may help open or close the store, oversee conditions, and provide operational support to cashiers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore environments.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and locating items.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, stocked store and assist with inventory.
• Support deliveries and replenishment and help the Store Manager with daily activities.
• Open or close the store when required and ensure store conditions are safe and welcoming.
