Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC in Heflin, Alabama is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to provide exceptional customer service, assist with merchandise selection and location, and process sales transactions. You will support the Store Manager and help maintain inventory levels and store cleanliness.

You may be asked to open or close the store in the absence of supervisors, help with deliveries and replenishment, and contribute to asset protection while building positive customer

Qualifications

Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives to others.
Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet, assist and thank customers; resolve inquiries and concerns.
Assist with merchandise selection, locations and add-on sales.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and positive image.
Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
Assist with unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and replenishment.
Open or close the store in absence of Manager or Assistant Manager.
Follow company policies and procedures and participate in training.
