Job summary

Hollywood Feed in Cumming, GA is seeking a Third Key Holder who reports to Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. You will open and close the store, greet customers, and ensure safe, efficient operations while upholding the company's policy: Do what is right by the customer.

Responsibilities include arriving before opening, stocking deliveries, assisting customers, gaining product knowledge, using the POS system, and supporting training of new employees.

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners is vital at Hollywood Feed.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver’s license with at least two years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrive before opening and stay after closing to prepare the store for business operations.
• Assume managerial responsibilities when management is absent.
• Greet and assist customers following Hollywood Feed's customer service standards.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to meet pet and customer needs.
• Maintain open, respectful communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work efficiently independently and as part of a team, providing support and training to new employees.
• Have open and weekend availability, including closing three nights per week.
• Unload and properly stock product deliveries.
• Obtain proficiency in operating the Hollywood Feed POS system, including opening/closing registers, creating customer accounts, processing transactions, and performing inventory cycle counts.
• Participate in all scheduled educational sessions.
• Complete routine weekly store maintenance and related duties.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
