Job summary

Hollywood Feed in Mississippi is seeking a Third Key Holder to support Store Manager and Assistant Manager. The role opens/closes the store, serves customers, and ensures safe, efficient operations while upholding the policy: "Do what is right by the customer."

The position requires welcoming customers, product knowledge, and reliable availability, including some weekend evenings. Prior sales and driving eligibility are valued; HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Open before opening and close after closing to prepare the store for business operations.
• Assume managerial responsibilities when management is absent.
• Greet and assist customers following Hollywood Feed's customer service standards.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to meet pet and customer needs.
• Maintain open, respectful communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work efficiently independently and as part of a team, providing support and training to new employees.
• Have open and weekend availability, including closing three nights per week.
• Unload and properly stock product deliveries.
• Acquire proficiency in operating the Hollywood Feed POS system, including: opening/closing registers, creating customer accounts, processing transactions, inventory management (cycle counts).
• Participate in all scheduled Hollywood Feed educational sessions.
• Complete routine weekly store maintenance, including restroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, setting up displays, updating prices, and related duties.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
