Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations and ensure a WOW customer experience. You will train crew, oversee stock, and manage open/close responsibilities while protecting assets and driving sales.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of managementexperience, strong communication skills, and a high school diploma or GED. Milwaukee-area role with an hourly starting pay of $11.50 and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers with personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure strong customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking.
• Act as Manager on Duty and manage store operations.
• Open or close the store, secure cash and alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping in the store.
