Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking a Keyholder to act as a limited Manager on Duty, ensuring store security and smooth operations under the management team. You will lead category teams, maintain merchandising standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, prior supervisor experience, and be 18+, with the ability to pass background screenings. A supportive team environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer interactions.
• Experience in supervising a retail team is preferred.
• Strong reliability and ability to follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations as a limited Manager on Duty.
• Maintain store security and assist management with daily tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints to resolution.
• Oversee merchandising, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Train and develop Associates and coordinate communication with staff.
• Process cash deposits and handle change orders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
