Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a motivated Key Holder to assist the store leadership team in delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales goals. You will become knowledgeable about product categories, support merchandising, and help coach team members while delivering a smooth in-store experience.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail sales experience, leadership and strong communication skills, and availability for varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and time management skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexible scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture to exceed customer expectations and build relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories and communicate features/benefits to customers.
• Meet measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Know current promotions and advertisements; maintain merchandising standards.
• Assist with floor moves, displays, stocking and housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and manage floor stock replenishment.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately and maintain cash/media accountability at POS.
• Partner with store leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and comply with Time & Attendance policy.
• Adhere to laws and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate high levels of quality work, attendance, and appearance.
