Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Part-time Key Holder to help lead in-store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with store leadership to drive sales, manage merchandising standards, and supervise front-end activities including cash handling and POS transactions.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and availability for varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays; extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, info capture).
• Be informed of current merchandise promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves, displays, and housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Accurate and efficient POS transactions with proper cash/media accountability.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and comply with Time & Attendance policies.
• Adhere to laws and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate high quality work, attendance and appearance.
