Job summary

Boot Barn in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a part-time Key Holder to lead customer service, manage daily store operations, and support sales goals. You will become an expert in product categories, engage customers, and help with visual merchandising while maintaining accuracy in transactions.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, strong leadership, and flexibility to cover varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Extended hours when necessary; travel up to 10% to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Remain informed on current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards; assist with floor moves, displays, and housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and monitor replenishment of floor stock.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately; manage cash and POS accountability.
• Develop skills and improve metrics by partnering with store leadership.
• Perform opening and closing procedures per company standards and Time & Attendance policy.
• Adhere to local, state and federal laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned; demonstrate high quality work and appearance.
