Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Union City, CA is seeking a customer-focused Store Associate to help customers find products and complete purchases with accuracy at the checkout. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Support store safety and shrink programs
• Interact professionally with customers and teammates; model Michaels values
