Job summary

Michaels in Union City is hiring for a customer-focused role in a busy retail environment. You will help customers locate products, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling. Training on rewards enrollments and Omni-channel processes is provided.

This role requires standing and moving around the store for long periods, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and participating in planogram maintenance while upholding store recovery standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and Omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and manage merchandise recovery and returns.
• Support shrink and safety programs and comply with SOPs.
