The Michaels Companies Inc. operates Michaels stores and seeks team members to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout. You will help with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining attractive, in-stock displays across the store.

Ideal candidates bring retail or customer service experience, are able to stand for long periods, and can engage customers in rewards programs while upholding store standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandising, including returns and restocks.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Interact respectfully with customers and team members; exemplify company values.
