The TJX Companies, Inc. HomeGoods in Hayward is hiring for a Key Carrier. This elevated role blends coordinator duties with leadership, requiring open availability including nights and weekends.

You will serve as Manager on Duty, help schedule coverage, coach Associates, and ensure compliance with store procedures. Successful candidates will have at least 1 year in retail with some leadership exposure, strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced store

Qualificações

• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading or coaching teams is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates with management and Associates on priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
