HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations at the Braintree, MA location.

The role alternates with Coordinator and includes leadership duties, with open availability including nights and weekends to meet store needs. You will deliver outstanding customer service, supervise associates, uphold company policy, manage opening/closing, and coordinate with management to ensure effective coverage and accurate procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
