Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in San Antonio, TX seeks a Key Carrier to support store operations, lead customer service, and act as Manager on Duty as needed. You will coach associates, ensure policy adherence, and help maintain a safe, efficient shopping environment.

You must be flexible to work nights and weekends, be a team player, multi-task well, and demonstrate strong communication and attention to detail. Retail leadership experience of 6 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Capable of multi-tasking
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Role models exceptional customer service.
• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides appropriate coaching to Associates
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
