Job summary

Graybar in Des Moines, IA is seeking an Account Manager to be the primary contact for key accounts. You will service these accounts and solicit new business to maximize profitability while positioning Graybar as the leading supplier of electrical, communications, and security products and solutions.

You will implement strategies to grow sales with key accounts, identify productivity opportunities, and partner with suppliers to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with RFIs and RF Ps

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Understand customer business needs and work closely with supplier partners to help find solutions to meet those needs.
• Give presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company services.
• Attain or exceed sales and profit budget.
