Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Key Account Manager – Building Automation & Data Centers to drive growth across Germany. You will develop strategic plans, manage major customers, and expand partnerships in building automation, HVAC and data center segments.

You’ll collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams, lead full sales cycles, and travel regularly across Germany. Fluency in German and English is required, with a willingness to travel and operate from a home

Qualifications

• Proven experience in key account management, sales within building automation and data center sectors.
• Strong understanding of commercial buildings and data center ecosystems.
• Experience with complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent German and English; willingness to travel regularly across Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers within the building automation, commercial buildings, and data center segments.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers and increasing market penetration.
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers, consultants, engineering firms, contractors, system integrators, and strategic partners.
• Collaborate with sales, application engineering, product management, marketing, and service teams to develop compelling customer solutions and value propositions.
• Lead opportunities through the full sales cycle, from project identification and specification to negotiation, closing, and successful project implementation.
• Drive pipeline development, forecasting, and commercial performance to achieve ambitious growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
