Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• One year experience with kettle fundraising preferred.
• Equivalent training/experience may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects bell ringing staff and volunteers to cover sites.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work; trains staff; ensures accuracy and policy compliance.
• Maintains contact with staff/volunteers; addresses questions and concerns.
• Prepares and maintains records and databases for kettle income; reports status.
• Plans, coordinates, and prepares special events and recognitions.
• Meets with community leaders to discuss Salvation Army needs.
• Drives Salvation Army vehicle(s) to kettle locations and handles deposits.
• Assists with counting, recording and depositing kettle funds.
