The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Kettle Coordinator for the Alabaster Corp, located in Alabaster, AL.

Job Summary –Recruits, trains, coordinates, andmonitorsthe work of employee and volunteer bell ringers ensuring amplestaff tomeet location needs; prepares records and reportsregardingthe same.

This is a seasonal position.

Education and Experience –High School Diploma or G.E.D. and one-year experience working with kettle fund raising programs preferred. Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications –Valid Driver’s License is required for this position.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions -Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Duties areusually performedseated. Sitting may be relieved bybriefofoccasional periods of standing or walking. Duties included extensive driving to and from kettlelocations,50-75% of work time. Limited amount of effortrequiredassociated with walking, standing,liftingand carrying equipment (less than 40 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Work is performed in and out of the office and in a wide variety of weather conditions. Dressing appropriately is important forremainingsafe and comfortable.
