The Salvation Army in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Campaign Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the Christmas Red Kettle Campaign. You will ensure kettles are staffed, support employees and volunteers, coordinate routes and equipment, and maintain campaign information with accuracy and fiscal integrity.

You will recruit and schedule paid bell ringers and volunteers, manage the Golden kettle system, prepare driver routes, and communicate with staff and Corps Officers to resolve issues

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR clearance are required.
• Strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate volunteers and staff professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, interview, screen, and process paid bell ringers and assist with volunteer recruitment.
• Maintain kettle system (Golden) for volunteers, kettle sites, schedules, routes, income, and statistics.
• Schedule paid and volunteer bell ringers and maintain kettle site coverage.
• Coordinate daily communication with bell ringers, volunteers, drivers, staff, and Corps Officers.
• Train paid and volunteer bell ringers on etiquette, safety, Army protocol, and expectations.
• Prepare driver routes and coordinate kettle equipment distribution, collection, and inventory.
• Maintain accurate kettle income and statistics and follow Corps Officer expense approval procedures.
• Drive assigned kettle routes each morning and evening, including transporting bell ringers and kettle equipment; resolve daily campaign issues and provide additional route coverage as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
