Job summary

The Salvation Army Oakbrook Terrace Corps seeks a part-time Kettle Campaign Assistant to support kettle operations during the holiday season. You will transport bellringers and kettles, help maintain equipment, and coordinate with Corps Officers to ensure smooth site operations.

Responsibilities include logging drops, supervising bellringer activities, counting monies, securing funds, and enforcing program procedures while upholding the mission and values of The Salvation Army.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
1-year related experience with a good knowledge of the area.
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
Clearance of TSA MVR check.

Responsibilities

Transport Bellringers and kettles to and from sites.
Help to maintain equipment, checking that all Bellringers are clean and presentable.
Provide badges to bellringers when dropped off.
Coordinate with Corps Officers on all disciplinary problems.
Log drop off & pick up times of Bellringers on route sheet and have Bellringers sign-off.
Conduct periodical site checks throughout the day to ensure that Bellringers are working.
Assist with daily counting of monies as needed.
Secure monies always.
Ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
Other duties as assigned.
