Job summary

The Salvation Army Oakbrook Terrace Corps is seeking a part-time Kettle Campaign Assistant. You will transport bellringers and kettles, help maintain equipment, and coordinate with Corps Officers to ensure smooth operations during kettle season.

Responsibilities include managing sign-offs, site checks, money counting support, and ensuring procedures are followed. A valid driver’s license and TSA MVR clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1-year related experience with a good knowledge of the area.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Clearance of TSA MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bellringers and kettles to and from sites.
• Help to maintain equipment, checking that all Bellringers are clean and presentable.
• Provide badges to bellringers when dropped off.
• Coordinate with Corps Officers on all disciplinary problems.
• Log drop off & sign-off times of Bellringers on route sheet.
• Conduct periodical site checks to ensure Bellringers are working.
• Assist with daily counting of monies as needed.
• Secure monies always.
• Ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
