Job summary

Great Lakes Brewing Co in Cleveland, OH is seeking a dependable Keg Filler Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate the keg filler within approved quality and production parameters and contribute to SOP updates.

This role requires basic math and data recording, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work extended hours including weekends. Prior manufacturing experience and tow motor certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of working experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to operate in a team environment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to record accurate data.
• Willingness to work flexible and extended hours, as needed (including weekends).
• Must be able to reach, bend, stand, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Tow motor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate our keg filler within parameters set by quality control and production.
• Develop, maintain and update standard operating procedures to optimize performance within safety parameters.
• Identify all kegs being filled with accurate information.
• Operate CIP (clean-in-place) equipment to ensure cleanliness of machine.
• Warehousing and rotation of product being produced.
• External cleaning of incoming cooperage.
• Accurate reporting of production on a daily basis.
• Transport kegs to warehouse on an as-needed basis.
• Help maintain lean manufacturing practices.
• General cleanliness of work area.
• Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions.
• Light preventative maintenance as needed, including assisting maintenance team as needed.
• Assist on the bottling line as needed.
