Job summary

Westrock Coffee is seeking a Filler Operator to run Bulk and Liquid Fillers, maintain product integrity and throughput while adhering to HACCP, GMPs and quality standards in our Alabama plant. You will stage packaging, perform basic math calculations, collect QA samples and assist maintenance with equipment issues to keep lines running safely.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, basic reading and writing, and be able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment;

Responsibilities

• Operate Bulk and Bottle Fillers, Conveyors, Induction Heat Sealer, and Labeler, understanding equipment controls and product requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, Food Safety (HACCP, CCPs), and quality requirements.
• Complete MES/paperwork to stage and consume materials and product by correct lot or work order numbers for traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Stage primary and non-primary packaging.
• Execute Master Sanitation Tasks to ensure sanitation readiness of equipment for daily production.
• Collect and submit QA samples as required.
• Operate and safely use required Material Handling Equipment.
• Assist Maintenance with troubleshooting equipment issues impacting throughput, safety, or quality.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by management.

We are currently seeking a Filler Operator. This position operates both the Bulk and Liquid Fillers, maintaining product integrity, throughput, HACCP, quality and food safety standards.

• Operate Bulk and Bottle Fillers, Conveyors, Induction Heat Sealer, and Labeler and possess a thorough understanding of the equipment, controls, and product requirements
• Ensure compliance with all GMPs, Food Safety (HACCP, CCPs), and Quality Requirements
• Complete required MES/Paperwork documentation to stage and consume all materials and product
• by correct "lot" number and/or work order numbers to ensure product traceability and Regulatory Requirements
• Stage primary and non-primary packaging
• Execute all MSS (Master Sanitation Tasks) of assigned equipment to ensure all equipment meets sanitation requirements and ready for daily production
• Collect and submit required samples for Quality Assurance purposes
• Operate and safely use required Material Handling Equipment
• Assist Maintenance in the troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment issues impacting equipment throughput, safety, or quality
• Execute additional duties as assigned by management
