Job summary

Ohiocraftbeer is seeking a keg filler to operate our filling line and support packaging operations in a fast-paced brewery environment. You will follow safety and quality controls, input accurate production data, and assist with maintenance and line changes as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of manufacturing experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to work weekends and extended hours.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate in a team environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to record accurate data.
  • Willingness to work flexible and extended hours, including weekends.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stand, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Tow motor certification.

Responsibilities

  • Operate keg filler within quality control and production parameters.
  • Develop, maintain and update standard operating procedures to optimize performance within safety parameters.
  • Identify all kegs being filled with accurate information.
  • Operate CIP equipment to ensure cleanliness of machine.
  • Warehousing and rotation of product being produced.
  • External cleaning of incoming cooperage.
  • Accurate reporting of production on a daily basis.
  • Transport kegs to warehouse as needed.
  • Maintain lean manufacturing practices.
  • General cleanliness of work area.
  • Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions.
  • Light preventative maintenance and assist maintenance team as needed.
  • Assist on the bottling line as needed.
