Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site teacher (guide) focused on structured literacy for K‑3 students. You will guide app-based learning, diagnose decoding gaps from running records, and lead short, targeted sessions with small groups. Daily routines include morning launch, life-skills workshops, and classroom check-ins.

You will partner with families, track weekly progress, and adapt instruction to close reading gaps. Relocation support is offered; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Structured-literacy training (e.g., LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS or similar) required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Experience guiding K‑3 students through app-based learning and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coach K‑3 students through app-based core learning and diagnose gaps.
• Lead short literacy sessions with small groups and design intervention sequences.
• Maintain daily routines from morning launch to closing.
• Support weekly app goals with gamification and leaderboards.
• Stay with students through lunch and recess, planning next steps for each child.
