Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning and stronger mentorship. We hire guides and teachers to support K-3 students through app-based core learning and targeted literacy work on a full-time, on-site schedule.

The role emphasizes diagnosing gaps, maintaining daily goals, and staying with students through lunch and recess to ensure progress. Relocation support is offered; compensation is $120,000 USD/year with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any subject; a teaching certificate is not required.
• At least 3 years directly working with children ages 4-9 in relevant settings.
• At least 2 years of that experience teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning, spotting gaps and enabling progress.
• Run short structured-literacy sessions for 2–4 students and monitor transfer of learning.
• Lead morning launch, life-skills workshops, and classroom routines on campus.
• Support weekly goals with gamified incentives and continuous feedback.
