Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site teaching role focused on early literacy across K-3. You will guide six-year-olds through app-based learning, diagnose decoding gaps, and deliver short literacy sessions with two to four students daily.

Relocation support is provided as we recruit nationally for campuses across the country. You will stay with your students through meals and daily routines, using data to drive instruction and meet weekly learning goals.

Qualifications

• Three years of direct work with children ages 4–9.
• Two years teaching reading in grades K-3 in the last five years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning and diagnose gaps.
• Lead short structured-literacy sessions for small groups and check transfer of learning.
• Guide students through daily routines, maintain weekly app goals and motivate progress.
• Provide ongoing support from launch to closing with data-driven adjustments.
