Job summary

Join Crossover as a Student Success Coach in Chicago, IL, on-site. You will guide K-3 students through app-based literacy, diagnose gaps, and deliver short, targeted sessions to close decoding and fluency gaps.

You’ll spend most of your day guiding students through structured routines, with 10% on reading sessions and 90% on interactive learning, workshops, and campus activities. Relocation support is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working directly with children aged 4-9.
• At least 2 years coaching reading in grades K-3, within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree; teaching certificate not required.
• Structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• On-site work with relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning.
• Lead short structured-literacy sessions for 2–4 students.
• Maintain daily learning goals and monitor weekly data.
• Drive weekly app goals with leaderboards and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a plan.
