Job summary

Independence Mission Schools Central Office in Philadelphia is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to service and maintain technology systems across IMS schools. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, support staff in person or remotely, and manage devices, printers, and network equipment.

The role requires at least 1 year of tech support experience in a K-12 setting, strong customer service, and the ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Completion of IMS technology-related repair, service and support tickets.
• Perform and complete tech support requests and repairs in all IMS buildings.
• Inventory of Technology Department equipment, tools, software and support systems.
• Installation and repair of printers, copiers, computers, equipment, devices, cables, operating systems and software.

Responsibilities

• The Technology Support Specialist services the technology support needs of all IMS schools and buildings.
• Maintains and troubleshoots hardware and software issues both in person and remotely.
• Supports staff with e-mail, telephones, laptops and Tech Request Repair system.
