Job summary

Holyoke Public Schools seeks a HelpDesk Technician to provide frontline IT support for district staff. You will resolve hardware, software, accounts, printers, and network-connected devices, communicating solutions clearly and professionally, and offering end‑user training as needed.

The role includes inventory management, device deployment, ticket documentation, and collaboration with the Technology team to keep systems organized, secure, and well supported across district sites.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support in a school district or similar environment.
• Strong customer service, clear communication.
• Familiarity with Windows devices and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support remotely, by phone, and in person.
• Update and manage helpdesk tickets and service records.
• Assist with device setup, imaging, tagging, deployment, and delivery.
• Provide one-on-one guidance and basic training to end users as needed.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff and follow through to resolution.
