Full-time IT Technician position to act as a standard, primary point of contact for technology-related issues and inquiries for district employees. This position will build a rapport with the building administration and staff to ensure a positive working relationship and clear lines of communication between IT and the assigned location(s). The position also ensures user compliance with IT procedures and policies and configures and deploys devices and educational software for use by administrators, educators, and students within the district. Using a combination of standard procedures, best practices, and problem‑solving techniques, technicians seek to provide accurate and meaningful solutions for district clients. The position is 37.5 hours per week, 12 months per year, with benefits. The hourly rate is $24.31.
The role includes providing technical support, configuring devices, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, ensuring user compliance with IT procedures and policies, and building a rapport with building administration and staff. The technician will also work under the general supervision of the Director of Information Technology.
