Job summary

Edu-Tech Academic Solutions is seeking a proactive IT Help Desk Coordinator for a PK-8 independent school. You will serve as the primary contact for tech issues, balancing daily troubleshooting with long-term planning to support the school’s mission.

You’ll manage Tier 1/2 support, classroom A/V systems, and ticketing; administer Google Workspace and M365; assist with network, security, data backups, and asset lifecycle as part of a collaborative technology team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of technical support experience, preferably in a K-12 environment.
• 2+ years of experience in network administration or systems management.
• Technical proficiency in ChromeOS, Windows, and macOS.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication skills with patience to assist users.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 & 2 hardware and software support for students, faculty, and staff.
• Manage classroom A/V technology and video conferencing equipment.
• Prioritize and document support requests via the Help Desk system.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining school network and server environments.
• Administer user accounts in Google Workspace, M365, and SIS systems.
• Support cybersecurity, data backups, FERPA compliance, and policy adherence.
• Maintain technology asset inventory and assist with procurement and planning.
