Job summary

Prospect Ridge Academy seeks a Technology Support Technician to provide responsive, customer-focused IT help for faculty, staff, students, and families, ensuring reliable operation of classroom and school technology.

Reporting to the Educational Technology Manager, you will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage devices, support Google Workspace and AV systems, and contribute to staff training, knowledge base creation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, or related field preferred.
• Two+ years of technology support experience in K-12 or educational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technology support requests from faculty, staff, students, and families.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and classroom technology issues.
• Support Google Workspace, device management systems, and classroom technology platforms.
• Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of audiovisual equipment for events.
• Maintain accurate technology asset inventory and support documentation.
