Job summary

K12 Insight is seeking an Implementation Engineer to own end-to-end K-12 technology deployments. You will configure, integrate, and stand up systems across SSO, SIS/ERP, MDM, and ticketing, partnering directly with district IT departments.

You’ll troubleshoot across the platform and provide training to diverse stakeholders, ensuring clean handoffs to Account Management for renewal and growth. A strong background in K-12 deployments and Salesforce/AI familiarity is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in either a K-12 district IT role or client-facing SaaS implementation with hands-on deployments.
• Hands-on depth in SSO/rostering, K-12 SIS/ERP, MDM, or ticketing and asset management.
• 1+ year working in K-12 technology systems with data integrity checks.
• Able to engage in peer-level technical discussions with district IT leadership.
• Active Salesforce user and AI tool adopter.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end implementation lifecycle from kickoff to validated go-live and handoff.
• Perform hands-on technical work across SSO, SIS/ERP, MDM, and ticketing with district IT.
• Troubleshoot platform, integration layer, and client environment independently.
• Deliver training across stakeholders from end users to executives.
• Provide a clean handoff to Account Management for renewal and expansion.
