Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Sales Consultant for the K-12 market in Oklahoma. You will travel the territory to meet current and prospective customers, conducting in-person consultations with faculty and administrators to drive growth. This role requires a hunter mentality and a track record of meeting sales goals.

You will forecast activity, develop territory plans, and participate in industry events. Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office is expected; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and proven track record of sales and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and implement sales solutions and establish effective customer relationships.
• Proficiency with business technologies including CRM systems; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to transport materials; physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and moving up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the Oklahoma territory to visit current and prospective customers.
• Conduct in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors, and administrators.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve sales goals.
• Engage in network-building opportunities at conferences and industry events.
• Take an active role in industry associations within the territory.
