Job summary

Cengage Group in Oklahoma is seeking a Sales Consultant in the K-12 market who will travel the Oklahoma territory, visit current and prospective customers, and conduct in-person sales consultations with faculty, directors, and administrators.

You will develop plans to achieve goals with hunter mentality, meet sales targets, forecast activity using CRM tools, and participate in industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with proven sales and goal achievement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement sales solutions.
• Territory management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with business technologies including CRM and Microsoft Office; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the Oklahoma territory to visit current and prospective customers.
• Conduct in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors, and administrators.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve goals.
• Forecast and report sales activity using company tools.
• Participate in conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Take an active role in the Oklahoma Publishers Association.
