Job summary

Alpha is seeking an Education Program Manager to lead coaching of Guides and drive excellence across select campuses. You will shape student experiences, build leaders, and maintain Alpha's high standards while expanding the model for K-12 learning.

You'll use data and coaching conversations to improve performance, develop life-skills workshops, and help launch new campuses with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based termination decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Willingness to work on-site at Alpha campuses (Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Orange County, CA; Santa Barbara, CA).

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in their self-directed academic programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
