The role emphasizes de-escalation, crisis management, documentation, and family communication, with a strong focus on PBIS CASE framework and inclusive, evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Emotional consistency and resilience in stressful situations.
• Flexibility to support safety and well-being of staff and students.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Monitor and support across classrooms and other sites.
• Develop and implement behavior support plans.
• Record incidents and progress toward goals.
• Utilize positive behavioral intervention and support strategies and school site incentive programs.
• De-escalation, crisis management, and safety procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment and work with interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate with parents.
