Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a Behavior Support Specialist to help students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms and standalone schools in Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Emotional consistency and resilience to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Provide customized behavior support and use positive behavioral interventions and supports.
• Record, track, and document behavioral incidents and progress toward goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment and differentiate support as needed.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement support plans.
• Communicate with parents and participate in debriefings after challenging situations.
• Assist with de-escalation, crisis management, and safety procedures when necessary.
