Job summary

FullBloom's SESI division is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and dedicated schools.

You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior support plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help students meet IEP goals within a safe, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in educational settings with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations as necessary.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and assist with safety of students and staff.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate effectively with parents.
