Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is a premier provider of education services for K-12 students who require additional supports to overcome challenges in traditional schools.

SESI partners with school districts to run in-district classrooms and standalone schools that meet students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. You will support assigned students as a paraprofessional/behavior aide, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic guidance and life

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors, progress, and incidents.
• Use behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
