Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) invites an assistant teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs. In small groups, you will reinforce learning, monitor progress, and communicate with parents as part of SESI’s instructional model.

You will collaborate with teachers and other staff to deliver individualized services, implement PBIS-based strategies, and ensure safe, supportive classroom environments across our in-district and standalone settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with small group instruction and individualized support.
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to address students’ needs.
• Lead and monitor student progress using data to guide instruction.
• Implement behavior support and de‑escalation strategies as needed.
• Support daily plans and supervise students during transitions and activities.
