Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a behavior aide to support K-12 students with special needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will lead small groups, collaborate with teachers to implement behavior and academic supports, and help assess student progress using SESI’s PBIS CASE framework. The role requires a high school diploma, experience with special needs students, and a valid driver’s license for school van transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in educational settings preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License for student transportation using the school van.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction and implement the SESI academic rotational model.
• Provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and accommodations as needed.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies to maintain student safety.
• Transport students to and from school using the school van.
