Yakima County is seeking a Program Representative I (Supervisor) in the Juvenile Court Clerk's Office to coordinate, audit, monitor and supervise clerical staff. You will develop procedures supporting judicial officers, manage case and trial workflow, and assign caseloads to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities include staff training, process improvement, and collaboration with courts and external partners to implement policy changes and maintain accurate records in the DMS system.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises In-Court Clerk and Office Staff; prioritizes, assigns and monitors work while ensuring compliance with County policies.
• Maintains attendance records and vacation requests; evaluates performance and coordinates with County Clerk on staffing decisions.
• Develops procedures for processing and docketing court documents within the DMS system and provides necessary training.
• Resolves issues over the counter, in the courtroom or by phone to ensure office staff safety and workflow continuity.
• Represents the department in meetings and collaborates on court procedures, policy updates and operational improvements.
• Monitors vendor performance, researches solutions, and implements improvements to document management and courtroom processes.
• Leads project proposals and research; drafts policies for case management and courtroom operations with education opportunities.
• Participates in long-range planning and committee work to align court procedures with local and state requirements.
