Job summary

Amentum is seeking an engineer to support the Kennedy Propellants and Life Support Services (KPLSS II) program at Kennedy Space Center, FL. You will perform planning, design, analysis, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems as part of a design/review team.

Responsibilities include creating specs, auditing drawings, generating work orders in Maximo, coordinating with engineering and program management, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 0-1 year of experience or equivalent.
• Good communications and analytical skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel and pass security clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of engineering tasks with supervision, including design development and analysis.
• Audit drawings and provide redline updates; generate work orders in Maximo.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, financial, and program management to define system specs.
• Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
• Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings.
