Job summary

Amentum is seeking an entry-level engineer for the Kennedy Space Center, FL, on the KPLSS II program. You will perform planning, design, analysis, manufacture, test, installation, operations, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems as part of a design, analysis, or review team.

Responsibilities include supporting design reviews, creating work orders in Maximo, maintaining documentation, coordinating with engineering and program management, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related scientific field.
• 0-1 year of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and software applications.
• May require travel and the ability to pass a NACI security check; US citizenship required for restricted access.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks with supervision, including design development and analysis.
• Audit drawings and provide redline updates.
• Create work orders using Maximo.
• Interface with customers in design reviews and technical meetings.
• Ensure safety and quality through adherence to procedures.
